As an art director, I don't want to change the design created by my team members, I only strive to enhance the design and ensure the content is presented in a clear and logical manner. The following are some of my favorite award-winning layouts.

THE VANISHING
JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2016, All Animals
The killing of Cecil the lion opened eyes and hearts to the senseless “sport” of trophy hunting, a cruel, twisted practice that devastates populations of threatened and endangered animals. You can join our fight to end it.
2016: AAF-GF American Advertising Awards
Silver ADDY (local level)

FOSTERING HOPE
MAY / JUNE 2015, All Animals
Formerly “unadoptable” animals are finding their way home with the help of fosters— people willing to take in animals at their most needy, prepare them for adoption and then (here comes the really hard part) let them go.
I also provided art direction for the photo shoot we set up for the opening spread. May, the dog was so much fun to work with. She was very sweet and patient with us so we could capture the perfect shot that would work with our concept.
2016: Content Marketing Awards

THE TALE OF AN UNPREJUDICED HEART
JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2015, All Animals
Actor James Cromwell shares how his quiet role in the film Babe— which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015—continues to inspire compassion for animals.
I also provided art direction for the photo shoot we set up for the fakin' bacon spread and the tempeh bacon fettuccine dish. Fakin' anyone? It's quite delicious.
